Here I am leaving the Lake Perris State Park. Anne, Joe, and Astro
just ran around Lake Perris. It was very cold this morning - 36
degrees when they started! Behind me is San Gorgonio and Big Bear. So
beautiful today!

Snow and palm trees
Still in Rancho and took a shot of the mountain/foothills below Mt.
Baldy in the Angeles National Forest. If you zoom in you can see the
snow covered mountains disappearing into the clouds. It still is weird
to me to see palm trees so close to snow! There could still be a
little more snow/rain today. It is so neat outside when it gets cold
and snowy out here! Too bad it wasn't like that all the time.

Year of the Rabbit!
Here I am in starbucks by the Victoria Gardens mall in Rancho
Cucamonga with Anne and Joe. There was a cool CD cover celebrating the
year of the rabbit, so I thought I'd blog about it. We just went to
REI to get some new running shoes for Anne and Joe. We also wanted to
see all the cool snow on the mountains. What an awesome day!

Man or Astroman? @ the Casbah
Here we are! A rainy night in February. On our way to see Man or
Astroman? again at the Casbah. Here I am outside of the tavern. There
is a line outside. Good thing we have tickets. Pretty awesome!

Big Accident
Going to the Casbah in San Diego to see Man or Astroman? On the way we
got off the 805 at Mira Mesa and came upon an accident that just
happened. The freeway closed right after we got off. Looks like
someone went off the road and landed down the slope that runs from the
freeway to the railroad tracks below. That is over 100 feet...There
were several fire trucks, CHP, and a helicopter providing lighting for
the rescue workers. I hope everyone is OK.

Giant Metal Bunny?!?
Here I am at the Perris Jurassic Park - a cool place that makes metal
sculptures of any creature you can imagine! We talked to the owner,
Ricardo, and he might make us a giant metal bunny. He has never made a
bunny before, but judging from all the other creatures here, he would
do an excellent job!

I am standing by a neat dinosaur we are also thinking about
purchasing. There is a cool horse behind him - we are all in "attack"
mode:-) very neat place and very nice guy...we'll be back!
Happy 10th Anniversary! And b-day, too!
Hi everyone! Haven't made a post for awhile, but have a great reason
for one now - on Thursday it was Joe and Anne's 10th Anniversary! Here
I am with some beautiful flowers that Karen sent to them. Very fun and
unexpected surprise.

So today is Joe's birthday now - we are just trying to relax and enjoy
life with the family. They went for a run this am with Astro and then
picked up Orion and went to Starbucks for a short Orion-style run. Now
we are at Chipotle enjoying the 82 degree weather. Actually too hot
for us! The sun is too intense! I like special occasions with the
family. And the awesome lavender roses in the bunch that K-dog sent!
