Got home from the first carpool day with Angie. This morning, Paul
made us both toast and tea. He also packed our lunches. When we got
home, Paul had supper started for us! Very nutritious and tasty! And
we have leftovers for lunch tomorrow!

Casey's Cupcakes!
Made it to our destination, Casey's Cupcakes! They won a reality TV
show for the best cupcakes. Everything in the shop is yummy and
colored pink and white, like me! They are pricy, but fun to get them
once. We could probably make them just as good at home, but then we'd
eat them all and not just one! Kinda fun stuff!

President Taft's Chair
Went for an outing downtown at the mission inn with our new
housemates, Paul and Angela. Walked through the hotel lobby and
stopped to take a picture of President Taft's Chair. He must have been
a very large man...I think you could fit hundreds of bunnies on it!

Loading it up
The moving truck is a huge semi truck! It was too big to make it into
the complex, so the movers had to rent a smaller truck and shuttle it
to the parked semi down the street. It is getting more and more empty
(and hotter) every minute!

All boxed up!
Here we are on Tuesday morning - the movers came yesterday and boxed
everything and the house is looking sparse...you can see some moving
blankets behind me. The movers even took the glass off the living room
table and made special custom crates for it and other fragile items.
They worked very hard and were nice.

Neat Bunny Books!
Anne's birthday is coming up and Joe brought her such a neat b-day
present! Three new bunny & dog kids' books. On one of them, you can
pet a bunny rabbit's fur. I really like that one...

Interesting Leaf Creature
Here I am on the steps leading up to our condo. Both Joe and I noticed
him yesterday. Sometimes he looks like a dog, sometimes a bear. It is
a bloom off of one of the jacaranda tree. Very cool!

Metal Sculpture Bunny
Here I am outside our garage in Riverside. Just got done picking up
the metal bunny sculpture from the artist. He doesn't really look like
me as his head is a bit too small. He does have cool shoes! Wow - I
wonder how many bunnies in my family have a sculpture inspired by
them?

Wisconsin welcomes you!
Decided to take a quick trip to Wisconsin today. You can see the
Wisconsin welcomes you sign behind me that Anne snapped as we were
driving by after crossing the St. Croix River. Very nice day for a
drive - 54 degrees and neat clouds in the sky. I love road trips!

Kramarczuk's Deli
Angela told us about this yummy deli that her dad, Lance, likes to go
to. Joe picked us up from the airport and we walked to punch pizza and
looked out the window, and there it was! Now that we think back, we
remember seeing it, but thought it had a different name. We will have
to go there soon! Thanks, Angela!

Smoker Central!
We were waiting outside for Joe to pick us up and we couldn't handle
the smoke anymore, so we came in for a break...I even covered up my
bunny mouth! caught one lady in mid-puff. I can't believe how many
people in Minneapolis smoke!

My Own Seat!
Looks like I've got my own seat this morning on the first leg of our
trip to San Fran! And we are right across from the bathroom! We are in
the very last row of a small airplane - we are in row 13. Here we go!

ONT to SFO to MSP
Here we are at the Ontario airport this morning. We got a ride with
one of Anne's friends and coworkers, another nice guy named Joe!

There is no one here! Very strange...so easy to get through security
today! We had heard that airline travel was slow here, but this is
crazy for 8 am on a workday!
Hopefully we are on for a smooth day of travels. Our flight is delayed
a few minutes...need to make our connection in San Francisco. Looked
it up and fortunately, it looks like the gates are close by each
other. So much for McDonalds when we get there. We will probably be
running through the airport instead!
